Unique, beautiful and fascinating homes in Arizona are as diverse as the natural landscape. 

Everyone was wondering what was going on at the big yellow house across from the general store in Waddell, AZ. It is located one mile from Luke Air Force Base. It is a nice 6 bedroom four bath ranch and horse property and is prominently located on two fenced acres.

Digging it out and taking it back from nature was job one. It got prettier and prettier every day as I took the two acres back from the encroaching brush and trees. Then I started trimming up the bushes and landscaping close to the house. It started coming into focus as a property.

More and more people came through as I worked in front. They would stop and ask what I was doing. That is the way the ranch people are out there. They arrived on horseback and on quads. All stayed and talked like we were old friends.

Now it has been sold. I will miss walking across the street to the store for ice cream every five minutes as I worked in August. I will miss watching the F-16’s playing in the air above me while I worked on the property. Always a reason to take a break and watch. And now, on to the next project...
